GondwanaSound
Presented by Jill Turner

GondwanaSound came about through an enthusiasm for all types of music, especially music that I may not have heard before. It’s this sense of inquisitiveness that makes the radio broadcast “an adventure in global roots and grooves”.
As I have got older, I’ve changed my monkey boots for more comfortable footwear and now concentrate on roots music from here and over there. However, I cannot guarantee that the odd bit of roots reggae or late 70s punk won’t surface from time to time.
GondwanaSound at large, with its backstage pass and access all areas, brings you interviews with artists and musicians as they come to play in Sheffield or when we catch up with them on the festival circuit.
Above all, enjoy the programme and please interact with the broadcast by emailing gondwanasound@gmail.com and joining the family at myspace.com/gondwanasound
We’ve also recently developed a website http://www.gondwanasound.co.uk where you can view the playlists, listen to the podcast and generally wander around, leaving comments is you wish.
One love to the music makers.
One love to the peace makers.
